McLaren Lapeer Region Urgent Action Fund
As the extraordinary health care crisis closes doors in our community and around the globe, our doors continue to remain open. Every day, our staff arrives at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital with one intention – to care for our patients. As a result, The McLaren Lapeer Region Foundation has created the Urgent Action Fund as a way to prepare for the inevitable needs that our frontline staff members will face as they tirelessly dedicate their time and resources during this pandemic.
There has never been a more critical time to support the life-saving work of our hospital and those who continue to provide high quality care to the patients we serve. We ask that you please consider making a gift to our Urgent Action Fund which will:

Provide high demand Personal Protection Equipment for the safety of the employees and patients
- Fulfill potential unexpected needs resulting from this pandemic
At this time, McLaren Lapeer Region is also accepting donated supplies to prepare for future needs to protect our staff and community.
Most-Needed Medical Supplies
- New or unused disposable face shields
- N-95 masks (sometimes called respirators)
- Eye protection including face shields and safety goggles
- Disposable gowns
- Non-latex disposable gloves
- Disposable surgical caps
- Disposable shoe covers
- Wipes: bleach or anti-microbial
- Alcohol based hand-sanitizer
- Specialized items, such as:
- Max Air CAPR powered air purifying respirators and CAPR face cuffs
- Nasal testing swabs
- Viral testing kits
