This elective rotation is for a minimum of four (4) weeks. Students gain experience in managing patients with a wide variety of infectious diseases on both inpatient and ambulatory basis encompassing longitudinal experiences in a continuum of care to observe the course of illness and the effects of therapy.

Limited to fourth-year students who have completed at least one month of General Internal Medicine

Please note that all students scheduled for this rotation will be required to take a maximum of two nights of general internal medicine overnight call.
