Occupational & Convenient Care Walk-In Clinic

McLaren Bay Region Offers Convenience and Care

The new Bay City location provides accessible hours for all of your routine medical needs.

McLaren Health Care is known for its expert, patient-centered services, both in and out of the hospital. And good health starts with prevention, which is why regular checkups and having a place to turn for routine medical care matters. Whether you need treatment for a cough before it worsens or a pre-employment physical, you can turn to McLaren.

With its dedication to meeting the needs of everyone in the community, McLaren has expanded its reach to provide accessible health care in the new Uptown Bay City McLaren Occupational and Convenient Care Center. Located on the first floor, the center offers two specialties under one roof: occupational and convenient care.

Physicals, drug screens, work injuries, and employee-required testing can all be completed within Occupational Care. McLaren partners with many major companies nationally, as well as regionally and across the state, so no matter where your job might take you, you will be able to find a McLaren Occupational Care Center.

Here’s how they benefit you!

  • Hours that meet your needs. The center is open
    8 a.m. - 8 p.m., Monday through Friday

  • Quick and easy referrals to services beyond the scope of the center. If you need a primary care physician or specialty medical services, the providers at McLaren Convenient Care can refer you.
  • Lower cost. The overall cost of treatment and the co-payment are lower at the McLaren Convenient Care Center than paying a visit to a hospital’s emergency department.
  • Expert care. The center offers certified health practitioners to give you the expert care you have come to expect from McLaren.

For routine, non-emergency medical care, the center is a convenient choice, with extended hours and walk-in appointments. The staff will treat patients older than 2 years of age for conditions such as coughs, colds, small lacerations, or sprains and injuries. Two on-site procedure rooms make minor medical treatment, such as suturing a cut, possible as well. If you need care beyond the scope of the center, such as treatment for orthopedic concerns or primary care health issues, you can easily be referred to one of the available experts conveniently located within the same building.

Most major insurances are currently being accepted. Patients without insurance are also welcome, and individuals paying cash can be assured that payment at the Convenient Care Center will be much lower than visiting a hospital’s emergency department.
