Isabella Citizens for Health, Inc, the organization created to develop a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Isabella County, received its FQHC Look-Alike Designation. McLaren Central Michigan recently received two Governor's Awards of Excellence

One of the awards was for improving "Patient Care and Quality of Care in the Acute Care Hospital Setting," recognizing the hospital's performance in clinical and patient experience measures and the completion of a process improvement plan. The second award was for "Healthcare Associated Infection Prevention" and was based on the hospital's infection performance, antimicrobial stewardship, and completion of a process improvement plan.
