Infusion Center addresses wide range of infusion therapies

Intravenous therapies provided at McLaren Greater Lansing’s Infusion Center include (but are not limited to):

  • Blood products;
  • Antibiotics;
  • Hydration (water);
  • Steroids;
  • Iron;
  • Immunoglobulin;
  • Remicade (injectable antibody to treat Crohn’s disease, psoriatic and rheumatoid arthritis);
  • Central venous line access and management.
Infusion therapies not provided at the Infusion Center include:
  • Chemotherapy;
  • Parental nutrition;
  • Conscious sedation;
  • Intravenous pain management.
The Infusion Center serves adult patients on a one-term, intermittent, or repetitive basis, as prescribed by their physician. Services are provided by registered nurses. Michael James, D.O., is the Center’s medical director.

Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
