Breast Center

Breast cancer is the number one cancer in women

Breast cancer is both life threatening and a life changer. However, when breast cancer is detected in its early stages, chances of surviving the disease are greatly improved. There are steps that women can take to detect breast cancer early while the prognosis can still be favorable. Annual screenings are recommended for all women over 40 and tests can detect breast cancer early, when it's most treatable.

Test Results and Reporting - All of the testing procedures performed at the breast center and affiliated diagnostic centers are interpreted by a board-certified radiologist. A consultation session with the radiologist is provided to any woman undergoing a diagnostic evaluation. A report will be sent to the referring physician who will follow-up with the patient to discuss their test results.

Coordination of Care - We also provide coordination of care for patients undergoing diagnostic evaluations and breast biopsies. Patients diagnosed with cancer are referred to our Ted B.  Wahby Cancer Center where they are provided with the latest treatment options and personalized follow-up care.
