The McLaren Proton Therapy Center is pleased to welcome board-certified Radiation Oncologist Moaaz Soliman, MD, to its expanding team. He joins a comprehensive team of oncologists at McLaren Flint who work closely to offer patients their best chance at fighting cancer.

“I chose to join the McLaren team because they are a dedicated and cohesive group committed to delivering the highest level of care and attention to their cancer patients,” Dr. Soliman said. “My interest in proton therapy is rooted in a background of cancer biology research and working with pediatric patients.”

Dr. Soliman completed his radiation oncology residency at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He earned his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor.

Dr. Soliman will treat patients with conventional radiation at the Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Flint and proton patients at the adjoining McLaren Proton Therapy Center. Recently diagnosed cancer patients or those seeking second opinions may call (855) MY-PROTON (855-697-7686) or visit mclaren.org/protontherapy.
