McLaren Port Huron Pulmonology, Critical Care and Sleep joins McLaren Medical Group

Port Huron, Mich. – Vasken Artinian, MD; Michael Basha, DO; Ali Haidar, MD; and Jody Britz, FNP-BC; have formed McLaren Port Huron Pulmonology, Critical Care and Sleep, now part of the McLaren Medical Group.

Located in the McLaren Port Huron medical building next to the hospital, the practice provides care for people with lung diseases such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic bronchitis and pulmonary fibrosis, or sleep apnea. In addition, the practice provides critical care for patients admitted to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit with life-threatening illnesses and challenges.

McLaren Port Huron Pulmonology, Critical Care and Sleep includes:

•    Vasken Artinian, MD, completed his residency at Wayne State University Medical Center and his fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He is board certified in pulmonary disease, internal medicine, sleep medicine and critical care medicine.

•    Michael Basha, DO, completed his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and his fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital and at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is board certified in pulmonary disease and internal medicine.

•    Ali Haidar, MD, completed his residency and fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.

•    Jody Britz, FNP-BC, earned her degree from the Oakland University School of Nursing.
