Monroe H. Adams, D.O., Medical Director
Pathology Associates of Mount Clemens, P.C.
Dr. Adams received a B.S. in Pharmacy (1967) and a M.S. in Environmental Toxicology at Temple University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania (1968), and a D.O. from The Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (1972). He completed residency training in the Department of Pathology at Mt. Clemens General Hospital in 1976. Upon completion of residency training, he joined the Staff of Mt. Clemens General Hospital. He is currently on the Board of Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center. He is married to Linda Adams and has two sons who work in the Mt. Clemens area.

Dr. Adams is a past president of the Macomb County Osteopathic Society. He is a past president of the American Osteopathic College of Pathologists and is a member of the American Osteopathic Board of Pathology. He also is a Laboratory Inspector for the College of American Pathologists and the Health Facilities Accreditation Program of the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Adams is a Fellow of The American Osteopathic College of Pathologists, and the College of American Pathologists.

Dr. Adams is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

Henry B. Armah, MBChB, MPhil
McLaren Central Michigan
Dr. Armah is the Laboratory Medical Director at McLaren Central Michigan, Mount Pleasant, Michigan. He is board eligible in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology. He earned both his medical degree (MBChB) and MPhil in Pathology degree from the University of Ghana Medical School, Accra, Ghana. Dr. Armah completed both his residency in Anatomic Pathology and fellowship in Neuropathology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA. He serves as an Associate Medical Director of the Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Central Michigan, Morey Cancer Center, Mount Pleasant, Michigan. He also serves as a Scientific Member of the McLaren Health Care Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Aamir Ahsan M.D. 
McLaren Flint
Aamir Ahsan M.D. certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He received his general pathology training at Danbury Hospital in Danbury Connecticut. He also performed a Hematopathology Fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine. He has a special interest in hematopathology, leukemia and lymphoma. He has been on staff at McLaren Flint for three years. Prior to this he practiced with the Memorial Glenview Pathology group in Los Angeles, California. He received practice experience at Aga Khan University Hospital in Pakistan. His present responsibilities include general surgical pathology, cytology, hematology and flow cytometry.

Dr. Bdeir is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Hematopathology.

Rabei Bdeir, M.D.

Dr. Bdeir received an M.D. from the University of Alleppo Medical School in Syria. He completed his residency training in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology at the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. He completed fellowships in Surgical Pathology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo New York, and Hematopathology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak Michigan. Dr. Bdeir joined the Department of Pathology at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center as a Staff Pathologist in 2003.

Dr. Bdeir is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Hematopathology.

Adolfo Noel Ceniza, M.D.
Northern Pathology Associates, PC
Dr. Ceniza is the Medical Laboratory Director of Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord Michigan and Mackinac Straits Hospital Systemin St. Ignace, Michigan.  He practices Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey, Michigan.  He is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.  Dr. Ceniza received his medical degree from Cebu Institute of Medicine, Cebu, Philippines and his pathology residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Joseph Czaja, M.D.

Dr. Czaja is a staff Pathologist at McLaren Bay Region.  He received his medical degree from Indiana University in 1989.  He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Indiana University Medical Center.  He has a fellowship in Cytopathology at Indiana University Medical Center and is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as Cytopathology (ABP).

He has active medical licenses in MI, TX, IN, OH and IL
Neil Caliman, M.D.
McLaren Greater Lansing
Neil C. Caliman, M.D., serves as staff pathologist at McLaren Greater Lansing (formerly Ingham Regional Medical Center), where he held the position of director of laboratories from 2006 to 2007 and is currently the chairman of pathology and director of laboratories at McLaren Greater Lansing.

Dr. Caliman received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, after which he completed a rotating internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA and postgraduate training in pathology at Wayne State University where he served as Chief Resident from January 1998 to June 1999.

While serving at McLaren Greater Lansing, Dr. Caliman also served as staff pathologist at CAP-LAB, PLC in Lansing, Mich., a private laboratory providing pathology and cytology services, where he also served as director. Dr. Caliman previously served as director of laboratories at Eaton Rapids Medical Center, medical director at Omni Laboratory and staff pathologist and chief pathologist at Michigan Health Center.

Dr. Caliman is a certified Diplomate by the American Board of Pathology.
Mehboob Fatteh, M.D.
McLaren Greater Lansing
Mehboob Fatteh, M.D. is a staff Pathologist at McLaren Greater Lansing since 1981.  He received his medical degree from Gujarat University in India, after which he completed internships and residencies at various hospitals affiliated with N.H.I., Municipal Medical School and K. M. School of Postgraduate Medicine and Research in India.  After his residencies in India, Dr. Fatteh then completed residencies in anatomic pathology at Bristol Medical School, U.K., pathology at the Medical College of Georgia and a fellowship in forensic pathology at the Chief Medial Examiner's Office in New York.

Previous Dr. Fatteh, former Co-Chief and Co-Chief Elect of McLaren Greater Lansing's Professional Staff, service as Director and Partner of CAP-LAB, PLC, a private laboratory providing pathology and cytology services to mid-Michigan.
Since 1981, Dr. Fatteh has held a clinical appointment as associate professor int he department of pathology at Michigan State University.

Dr. Fatteh is certified in anatomic pathology, clincal pathology and special competence in immunohematology by the American Board of Pathologists.<
Sara George, M.D.

Dr. Sarah George is a staff Pathologist at McLaren Macomb. She completed her residency in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, Massachusetts & Cytopathology fellowship at University of Massachusetts, Worcester, MA. 

Dr. George is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Cytopathology.

Dorothy Halperin, M.D.
Pathology Associates of Mt. Clemens
Dr. Halperin received her B.S. degree from Cornell University. She then obtained an M.S. degree in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling from Sarah Lawrence College. She practiced genetic counseling and became Board Certified in that specialty prior to entering medical school. She received her M.D. degree with honors from The University of Illinois College of Medicine.

Dr. Halperin did an internship in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Michigan. She then started her Anatomic & Clinical Pathology residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit and completed it at Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center. She remained at the DMC to do a one-year fellowship in Gynecologic Pathology with Dr. W. Dwayne Lawrence at Hutzel Hospital. She then was fortunate enough to become fellowship trained in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine, completing a one-year fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in conjunction with the American Red Cross, Southeast Michigan Region.

Dr. Halperin received American Board of Pathology certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.  She also received an American Board of Pathology certificate of Special Qualification in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine. Dr. Halperin has been practicing Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center since 1996.

John Panos, M.D.
Northern Pathology Associates
Dr. Panos practices both anatomic and clinical pathology at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital. He received board certification by the American Board of Pathology in both anatomic and clinical pathology after completing his residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in 2002.  He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1997.  Dr. Panos is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
Ernesto B. Quiachon, M.D.

Dr. Ernie Quiachon is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical pathology and associate clinical professor of pathology at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.  He is currently an associate attending pathologist at McLaren Flint with special interest in fine needle aspiration cytopathology, dermatoppathology and hematopathology.  He is a fellow of the the college of aermican pathologist, fellow of american society of clinical pathologist, and member of the international academy of cytology.  Formerly, medical director of laboratories at St. Lawrence Hospital and Health Care Services and Meercy health Services North Cadillac and Grayling, Michigan.  He is a member of the American Medical Associate, Michigan State Medical Society, Michigan Society of Pathologist, and American Society of Cytopathology.
Marcia Shattuck, M.D.
Northern Pathology Associates
Dr. Shattuck earned her medical degree from Michigan State College of Human Medicine and completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Evanston Hospital/ Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.  She is cerfified by the American Board of Pathology in anatomic and clinical pathology and holds a certificate of added qualification in cytopathology.  Dr. Shattuck practices anatomic and clinical pathology at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital and is the laboratory medical director.  She is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists and a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the American Society of Cytopathology.

Dennis Spender, M.D., Director
McLaren Medical Laboratory

Dennis Spender is the Director of McLaren Medical Laboratory.  He has worked for McLaren Health Care in that capacity since July of 2012.  Prior to that, he was the medical director of the laboratory at McLaren Bay Region since 1996.  He is a pathologist, board certified in both anatomic and clinical pathology.  He completed his pathology residency at the University of Vermont in 1996.  Prior to that he had an Internal Medicine practice in Escanaba, Michigan for nine years.  He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Minnesota Affiliated Hospitals in 1983.  He lives in Bay City, MI.
Kathy Kline, M.D.
Dr. Kline is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. She has worked at McLaren Central Michigan for the past 17 years as medical director of laboratory services. Prior to this she practiced at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw Michigan, Keweenaw Memorial Hospital in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and for the Indian Health Service in Alaska. Her internship was performed at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She obtained her pathology training at Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. 
Weimin Liu, M.D., PhD
Medical Director, Flint Medical Laboratory
Dr.Liu is the medical director of the Flint Medical Laboratory in Flint, Michigan. He is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Clinical and Anatomic Pathology. In addition, he is board certified in the subspecialty of hematopathology. Dr. Liu received his PhD in Physiology from the Hahnemann University, Philadelphia and his MD from the Jilin University, China. He completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Yale University and a hematopathology fellowship at Wayne State University.

Dr David Wiese, M.D., PhD

Dr. David Wiese is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, and also holds a PhD and an MBA from The University of Michigan. He trained as a resident in pathology at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan and at the University of California, Davis. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, and in cytopathology. He serves as President and Managing Partner of Flint Clinical Pathologists, PC.
