New Medical Fitness Program in Cheboygan
Cheboygan, Mich – July 12, 2012 – McLaren Northern Michigan, Cheboygan Campus is now offering Medically Supervised Fitness designed to provide both preventative and rehabilitative care.
To participate, patients must be referred by a physician, be currently enrolled in a Phase III program for Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehabilitation, have recently completed physical or occupational therapies, or have a medical condition in which supervised fitness is recommended. Offered at the Wellness Center on the third floor of the Cheboygan Community Medical Center at 740 S. Main, all patients can be assured of supervision by a trained exercise specialist.
The Center is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the cost is $5 per session. Participants may also purchase a punch card for $50, good for 11 sessions.
