ART WALK TO BENEFIT VITALCARE HOSPICE OF THE STRAITS
Petoskey, Mich – August 16, 2012 – Businesses and galleries in Cheboygan will open their doors August 30 – September 10 to display and sell specially selected artwork and craft items in a Passport to the Arts Walk to benefit VitalCare Hospice of the Straits Patient Assistance Fund.
Tickets for this event are $20, which includes a chance to win a Mackinac Island Getaway. Tickets are available at any Citizens National Bank Location, Gildner Gallery, or by calling McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation at 231.487.3500.
A special kick-off is planned at Citizens National Bank for opening night, August 30, at 8 p.m. The winner of the Viewer’s Choice Award will be announced along with a drawing for the Mackinac Island Getaway.
At the conclusion of the event on September 10, The Fabric Stash will host a drawing for a quilt entitled, Seasons of Change, displayed at its store location throughout the duration of the Art Walk. Tickets for the quilt raffle can be purchased at The Fabric Stash in Cheboygan for $1 each or 6 for $5.
