McLaren Health Care (MHC) is a comprehensive system with operations in nearly 200 facilities serving 54 counties with a population in excess of 3.5 million lives throughout Michigan. McLaren is a non-profit health care system committed to quality, evidence-based patient care and cost efficiency.
Through the fully integrated health care network McLaren Health Care improves the health of the communities we serve though participation in new and innovative research. Physicians and staff work with national and international medical/pharmaceutical companies, cooperative groups, as well as universities, foundations and different agencies on important, life-enhancing work.
Over the past decade, McLaren Health Care has developed one of the largest multidisciplinary research programs. The McLaren Administrative Offices of Research and Clinical Trials include the Human Research Protections Program and the Clinical Trials Management Program. These programs provide oversight for research conducted through McLaren Health Care.
