Diabetes Education presents program

Port Huron, MI – McLaren Port Huron Diabetes Education will present Diabetes Care: Body, Mind and Spirit Tuesday, July 17, 1:30 – 3 p.m. in the McLaren Port Huron Duffy Classrooms.

The program will focus on how a healthy body, mind and spirit can impact diabetes care. Participants will learn about reducing stress and challenges while managing diabetes. Certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor Jenny McElwain will demonstrate the physical and mental benefits of chair yoga. McLaren Port Huron’s licensed massage therapist, Kim Older, will talk about the calming effects of essential oils and their proper use.  Certified diabetes educators will be available to answer your diabetes questions, and light refreshments will be served.
