Foundation presents Cocktails for a Cause

Port Huron, MI – The McLaren Port Huron Foundation will hold its annual cocktail contest, Cocktails for a Cause, Thursday, May 11, 5:30 - 8 p.m., at the Black River Country Club. Open to attendees 21 years of age and older, the contest will feature bartenders from local establishments who will create delicious cocktails. Ticket price includes hors d’oeuvres, entertainment and a cash bar.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Survivorship Fund at McLaren Port Huron. The fund supports patients and their families as they learn to live with, through and beyond a cancer diagnosis. The Survivorship Fund helps give our patients the best possible experience while at the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Port Huron. Funding has been used for care packages for every newly diagnosed patient, transportation assistance, caregiver support groups, music therapy, medical supplies, and much more.
