The McLaren Oakland Foundation was formed to ensure everyone - regardless of age, race, sex or financial status - has access to state-of-the-art health care services. We carry out our mission daily at one of southeast Michigan's most revered medical institutions - McLaren Oakland in Pontiac.
To date, McLaren Oakland has provided more than $14 million in uncompensated medical care for those in need.
McLaren Oakland, a teaching institution, is committed to the training of future health care professionals with knowledge and understanding of service to the community. The McLaren Oakland Foundation proudly supports McLaren Oakland as it strives to give back and invest in the health and well-being of the communities where we live and work.
In today's health care environment, the rising cost of medical care is a serious concern.
That's where we come in.
At the McLaren Oakland Foundation, our mission is simple: We figure out ways to provide the highest quality health care, fueled by the most powerful technology and facilities, for anyone in our community regardless of their ability to pay. The McLaren Oakland Foundation is here to help, and we're here to stay.
To carry out our mission, we depend on the benevolent support of individuals, foundations and business communities. It's their generosity that nourishes the Foundation's strength, empowering us with resources to help those who so desperately need it.
Because of you, we are making a difference...every day.
