Kiran Devisetty, MD, a board certified radiation oncologist, joined Karmanos Cancer Institute in August of 2012. Dr. Devisetty is medical director of Community-Based Radiation Oncology Research for Karmanos Cancer Institute. Dr. Devisetty received his medical degree from The University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor. He completed medical residency in radiation oncology at University of Chicago Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois and trained in proton therapy through the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland. Before joining McLaren, Dr. Devisetty held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and served as a consulting staff member at three Milwaukee area hospitals. He also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Oncology with Wayne State University and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology with Michigan State University.
