Tribute (Honor A Loved One)
A gift in honor or memory of someone is a thoughtful way to pay tribute to individuals who touch our lives. These “Tribute Gifts” provide unrestricted resources for the Institute's most pressing needs or you may direct your gift to support a single program area or research project.
Tribute Gifts
- Help celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
- Are a special way to say “thank you.”
- Express your concern for an ill friend or relative.
- Are a thoughtful way to remember those who passed away.
- We send a Tribute Gift card to persons you designate notifying them of your gift.

Memorial Contribution Information
If you have lost a loved one and wish to encourage memorial contributions to Karmanos, contact Denise Lowe at 248-226-2163 or lowed@karmanos.org for a supply of our gift envelopes.
Below is suggested language for an obituary notice:
“The family requests contributions be made to the Karmanos Cancer Foundation, 4100 John R, MC: VE01FS, Detroit, MI 48201 or online at karmanos.org/giftofhope. Please indicate the gift is in memory of [name] by writing a memo on your check.”
