Podcast: Neurologist explains signs, symptoms and treatments of multiple sclerosis

"Scientists believe that a combination of environmental factors and your own genes contribute to the risk of developing multiple sclerosis.”

McLaren Macomb neurologist Dr. Alex Steinbock has spent his career treating patients who have been living with the effects of multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions.

He expands upon the disease on the In Good Health Podcast—which early symptoms patients should be on the lookout for, how the condition is treated and the kind of life patients can expect to live with their diagnosis.

“Each individual experiences this disease individually,” he said. “But people are living long, fuller lives, particularly with earlier detection.”

Listen to Dr. Steinbock and other McLaren physicians from varied specialties on the In Good Health Podcast.
