Are you at risk for heart disease?

Free Heart Disease Seminar

McLaren Cancer Institute

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in both men and women in the United States, and cardiovascular disease and stroke are responsible for 25 percent of deaths in Michigan.

Now is the time to take action and consider your health.

"Heart disease takes many different forms and symptoms can be wide ranging, or you may not be experiencing symptoms at all," said Sibin Zacharias, M.D., an interventional cardiologist with the McLaren Cardiovascular Institute. "It's here where knowledge becomes very important "“ knowing which symptoms to look out for and the risk factors associated with all forms of heart disease."

McLaren Oakland and Dr. Zacharias is hosting a free seminar to thoroughly cover heart disease, its symptoms and risk factors and take any questions the audience might have.

Held on Wed., June 29 from 6-7 p.m. at the McLaren Cancer Institute (5680 Bow Pointe Drive) in Clarkston, registration is required and can be made by visiting
