Electronic Prescription of Controlled Substances (EPCS) with Imprivata Confirm ID is Cerner functionality that will be going live in September!! Please review the event dates below:
Provider Enrollment Fairs will begin Monday 9/9. Action required. All providers who write prescriptions for controlled substances need to enroll with Imprivata’s Confirm ID and register personal authentication methods (required when prescribing controlled meds) at Greenlawn on 3 South (rooms 314/315) the weeks of 9/9 and 9/16, M - F from 7a – 4p daily, OR at Penn (Physicians’ Lounge) the week of 9/9, M – F from 7a – 4p daily. Providers will need to present a government-issued ID to an Enrollment Supervisor, and will register fingerprints and smartphones. The enrollment process only takes about 5 minutes, but will be even quicker if the smartphone app is installed in advance. See attached instructions for installing the app.
What to Bring:
Government-issued ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.)
Smartphone (with Imprivata ID app installed)
Go-Live is 9/16 for the Emergency Department and the Pain Clinic.
