The McLaren Golf Classic is celebrating its 32nd Anniversary! This “Day of FUNdraising” golf event will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 at two of the area’s most prestigious golf courses, Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club and the Flint Golf Club! The McLaren Golf Classic offers physicians, staff members, business partners and community leaders a wonderful opportunity to support a very worthwhile cause while enjoying a casual day of golf and camaraderie. Proceeds from the McLaren Golf Classic will support the Hospitality House at McLaren.
The Hospitality House provides a healing, caring and comfortable environment for patients and their caregivers/families who are traveling long distances for treatment at McLaren Flint. Some of the patients are those traveling to receive Proton Therapy which requires treatment daily for up to six to eight weeks. The House is adjacent to the Karmanos Cancer Center/McLaren Proton Therapy Center and provides comfortable, extended-stay housing at minimal or no cost. A full complement of activities, programs, quiet spaces, and amenities are available at this facility, providing a peaceful and renewing experience for guests.
