McLaren Home Care & Hospice would like to invite the community to the Better Breathers Support Group. Better Breathers provides support and education to individuals with lung conditions, including COPD, and CPAP support.
This support group educates those with breathing difficulties and sleep apnea to better manage their health. Topics will demonstrate how to:
• Decrease shortness of breath
• Use your breathing medications properly
• Decrease lung infections
• Properly use oxygen and sleep apnea equipment
• Exercise with underlying breathing difficulty
• Maintain positive outlook with chronic breathing conditions
• Screen for lung disease
• Manage Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
