West Branch Little League looks ahead to healthy season

The West Branch Little League will receive a head start on staying healthy through donations from McLaren.

McLaren has donated a first aid kit to every team in the league, as well as an AED defibrillator for the fields. Each first aid kit contains portable instant cold packs, antiseptic wipes and bandages. The AED defibrillator can be used by anyone who is trained in CPR to assist in the event of a cardiac emergency.

“This donation is so helpful to our league,” said West Branch Little League President Marty England. “The kids often get bumps and bruises, so the ice packs come in handy to help them feel better. Having the first aid kits and an AED on hand is one less thing for our coaches to worry about so they can focus on the kids and the games.”

The West Branch Little League serves approximately 400 players and 37 teams, and the season will run through June. England says a fall season may be considered depending on interest. “We are grateful for the support from McLaren and look forward to a great season,” said England.
