A philanthropic partnership between McLaren Oakland, the 328-bed downtown Pontiac hospital, and Rochester-based non-profit organization Dutton Farm will result in a new, social enterprise storefront, EveryBody by Dutton Farm. The store progresses the mission of the organization by “removing barriers to employment and community access for adults with developmental disabilities by creating work opportunities in an inclusive environment and at competitive and fair wages.”

McLaren Oakland is renting the space to the organization for $1 per year for three years.
Providing job opportunities for adults with disabilities, EveryBody by Dutton Farm will occupy a space within the McLaren Oakland administrative building to sell its brand of natural and high-end bath and body products both in the store and online. The new store is located at 64 North Saginaw Street, just south of East Huron Street, in Pontiac.
“When first approached by Dutton Farm, and I learned more about the organization and its mission and the incredible work they’re doing, the decision to help was an easy one,” said Margaret Dimond, PhD., president and CEO of McLaren Oakland. “We see our job as a responsibility to our community – to be good stewards to its overall well-being in every regard. This organization and a project to bring new business to downtown Pontiac are programs we’re proud to be associated with.”
Founded at the beginning of 2020, EveryBody by Dutton Farm originated in a space at the Rochester location and online, fulfilling up to 10,000 orders per month across the country. The Pontiac store is approximately 1,500 square-feet, with Dutton Farm renovating the space.
