McLaren Port Huron Foundation presents the 33rd Annual Festival of Trees

Port Huron, MI – Kick off the holiday season with McLaren Port Huron Foundation’s 33rd Annual Festival of Trees. The event will take place Thanksgiving through the New Year at McLaren Port Huron. The main floor public areas will be transformed into winter wonderlands, and the community is invited to enjoy the beautiful displays throughout the South, North and Karmanos lobbies.
New this year, Festival of Trees will be spreading holiday cheer throughout Downtown Port Huron with displays in nine storefronts! A special holiday celebration featuring these displays will take place Friday, December 3 during Downtown Port Huron’s First Friday event. The community is invited to view the displays downtown and celebrate the holiday season.

In keeping with tradition, the decorated trees included in the displays will be raffled off, and five raffle packages will be available. Raffle tickets cost just $1. Raffle ticket sales will take place online at beginning Wednesday, November 24 through Tuesday, December 21. Donations in celebration of this long-time community event are being accepted now at
Proceeds from this year’s Festival of Trees will be used to purchase the Hologic Upright Breast Biopsy Guidance System to enhance breast imaging services in Demashkieh Women’s Wellness Place. The system allows physicians to biopsy lesions that are only visible with tomosynthesis (3D) imaging, while delivering a lower X-ray dose and reducing the patient’s time under compression.

“Now more than ever, we are grateful for the support of our community,” says Sara Tait, director of McLaren Port Huron Foundation. “We find comfort and encouragement knowing this community cares about and supports our mission. We feel it is important to keep the Christmas spirit alive and hope our community will support this annual tradition.”
