Dr. Rani Kattoula graduated from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2019. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Henry Ford Warren Hospital and then went on to complete his Gastroenterology fellowship at Henry Ford St. John Hospital in Detroit where he served as chief fellow.
During his fellowship, he was awarded the Bristol-Myers Squibb IBD Fellow scholarship to pursue specialized training in inflammatory bowel disease at the University of Chicago. He also was awarded, via the Rome Foundation, to train in Motility and Functional GI disorders at Northwestern University. He has scored in the top 1%-3% every year on the national in-service GI exam during his fellowship training. He is a member of multiple GI societies and takes pride in providing patients with a personalized, evidence-based approach to their problems.
