Meet Dr. Philip A. Philip - Gastrointestinal Oncology

Philip A. Philip, M.D., Ph.D., FRCP, FABC, Kathryn Cramer Endowed Chair in Cancer Research, Vice President of Medical Affairs, Multidisciplinary Team Leader, Gastrointestinal and Neuroendocrine Tumor, Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, professor, Wayne State University School of Medicine. A frequent national and international lecturer, Dr. Philip authored over 200 manuscripts, review articles, editorials, and co-edited a book on pancreatic cancer. His major research interests are in the development of new therapies for gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine cancers with a special focus on pancreatic cancer. He has been the principal investigator on numerous local and national clinical trials in GI cancers.
