McLaren Flint OB/GYN providers offer support and education from pregnancy through childbirth. We serve our patients with three different locations throughout the Flint area, and have five trained OB/GYN physicians and two certified nurse midwives. With a diverse staff, McLaren Flint obstetrics patients may choose the provider that works best for them, during and after pregnancy.

Our certified nurse-midwives (CNM) combine professional skills and individualized care to give you the best overall experience during pregnancy, labor and delivery. When you choose a CNM, you are choosing an active role in decision making and responsibility for the health of you and your baby.
Dr. Ahmed Abdullah is an OB/GYN specialist who joined McLaren in 2020. Dr. Abdullah attended medical school at Windsor University School of Medicine St. Kitts and Nevis in the West Indies and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Hurley Medical Center in Flint.
Jessica Braman, MSN, RN, CNM, specializes in midwifery. She graduated with a Master of Science in nursing, Midwifery Program from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY.
Lisa Cavett, MSN, RN, CNM, specializes in midwifery. She graduated with a Master of Science in nursing, Midwifery Program from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
