Representatives of the Indian River Golf Club presented Scott Monthei with a donation of $2,996 to the Kim Monthei Breast Cancer Fund at McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation. The fund was established in memory of Kim Monthei by her family and M&M Plumbing Heating/Cooling Inc. to help breast health patients from Cheboygan County have access to important diagnostic testing and support during breast cancer treatment. The donation was from the Indian River Golf Club’s annual Ladies Invitational and the Peter, Paul & Mary Remembered benefit concert on August 10.
