McLaren Oakland Foundation announces new executive director

Erika Walker has accepted the position of executive director for the McLaren Oakland Foundation. Walker will work closely with the Foundation’s board of trustees to lead the fund development programs, which include special events, major gifts programs, foundation grants, capital campaigns and endowments.

Walker previously worked as the vice president of development for Guest House, Inc. in Lake Orion. She also held the position of director of major and planned gifts at Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation in Detroit.

Walker earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration. She is currently a member of the communications committee of the Planned Giving Round Table of South Eastern Michigan.

Walker commented, “I am excited to work closely with the Foundation staff and board of trustees. Together we are committed to strategically growing to ensure the future success of the McLaren Oakland Foundation and the services it provides to the community.”
