McLaren Port Huron offers new support group for cancer care providers

Port Huron, MI – A cancer diagnosis affects not only the patient, but those around them as well. McLaren Port Huron will offer support for those caring for a loved one diagnosed with cancer through a care provider support group.

Facilitated by an oncology social worker, this group will provide information and support to anyone caring for a loved one diagnosed with cancer. Learn how a cancer diagnosis can affect the care partner, and ways to care for yourself while caring for your loved one.

The Care Provider Support Group will meet the second Tuesday of each month, 6 – 7:30 p.m., in the McLaren Port Huron Jefferson Building, 1320 Washington Avenue, Port Huron. The first meeting will take place January 10.
