St. Luke’s Hospital Announces New Chief Executive Officer

Seasoned Executive from McLaren Health Care to Assume Position in August

MAUMEE, OH – Jennifer Montgomery, BSN, MSA, FACHE has been selected by the Board of Trustees of St. Luke’s Hospital to become that organization’s President and Chief Executive Officer effective August 3, 2020. Montgomery is replacing Dan Wakeman who announced his retirement earlier this year following 12 years of leadership in the CEO role at St. Luke’s.

Making the announcement on behalf of St. Luke’s was William Carroll, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. “Jennifer brings three facets of leadership and experience that were important in our selection of the next leader for St. Luke’s,” said Carroll. “The first is a commitment to excellence in patient care services. She is a trained clinical professional with over two decades of direct patient care experience. The second is clinical leadership. Jennifer has overseen, with notable success, the clinical services and nursing operations of hospitals that are very similar to St. Luke’s. Lastly, she is a proven health care executive who knows how to run, and more importantly, grow the operations and services of a full-service hospital that is a part of a larger integrated health system.”
