Karmanos Nurse

Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

  • Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
  • Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
  • Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
  • Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
  • Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.

Requirements

  • RN licensure
  • BCLS
  • ACLS for required for certain units.
  • Graduate of an approved school of Nursing
Sign-on bonuses available
  • Inpatient Registered Nurse — $10,000 Sign-on bonus
  • Outpatient Registered Nurse — $5,000 Sign-on bonus

Sign-on bonuses are based on education and experience and paid in installments.

Oncology Care Associate (OCA) – Inpatient

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates and cooperates in establishing a healing environment
  • Support nursing by performing basic nursing care for patients
  • Assist and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Maintain patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality, and respect patients' rights
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus available. Sign-on bonuses are based on education and experience and paid in installments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduation from either a school of practical nursing, a Certified Nurse Assistant Program, a Medical Assistant Program, or equivalent training
  • Previous hospital experience preferred.

Ambulatory Care Associate (ACA) - Outpatient

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and other Ambulatory Staff by gathering data.
  • Promote/perform the coordination of patient flow throughout the clinical area in an efficient, caring and safe manner.
  • Perform a variety of basic patient care activities under the direction of the MDT
  • Prepare examination or treatment room
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus available. Sign-on bonuses are based on education and experience and paid in installments.

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduation from either a school of practical nursing, a Certified Nurse Assistant Program, a Medical Assistant Program, or equivalent training
