Busch Family Cancer Research Fund
Bob Busch was diagnosed with Stage II Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in June 2021, just one day after his 35th birthday. When he was treated at Karmanos Cancer Institute, his children were ages 7, 5, and 3.
Now, two years later, Bob is doing great. Bob and his wife Caitlin want to give back and support cancer research at Karmanos.
It was his physician, nurses and entire clinical team who saved his life. On October 15, 2023, Bob, will be running the Detroit Free Press Marathon and he is thrilled that his physician, Dr. Jay Yang, leader of the Hematology Oncology Multidisciplinary Team at Karmanos, will be running alongside of him.
