Insurance Information
at Karmanos Cancer Institute

Thank you for choosing Karmanos for your health care needs. Karmanos accepts most health insurance plans. We encourage you to become familiar with the terms and conditions of your health insurance coverage and review any changes each year. Understanding your insurance coverage can help you avoid unnecessary bills. You will want to determine:

  • The extent of your insurance coverage/benefits/limitations
  • If you are in a managed care plan and whether there are any specific requirements prior to seeking treatment
  • Whether Karmanos is "in network" or a participating provider in your health insurance plan (you may be able to be seen at Karmanos even if your health insurance plan is not listed below)
  • Any out-of-pocket expenses (co-payments or deductibles)
  • If Karmanos is not in your health insurance plan’s network, you may still be treated at Karmanos; however, your personal financial responsibility may increase. Check with your health insurance plan by calling the number located on the back of your ID card.

DISCLAIMER: Karmanos’ participation in any health insurance agreement is subject to change without notice. Please verify with your insurance provider that they will cover procedures performed at Karmanos Cancer Center.
