Register today for a free prostate cancer screening with Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Northern Michigan on Thursday, Sept. 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. The event will offer a free Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test to measure the level of PSA in the blood. This protein is made by cells in the prostate, with higher levels in men often associated with prostate cancer. Experts recommend that men age 55-69 should consider a prostate cancer screening.
