Christie Bishop has been named Director of Patient Care Services at McLaren Caro Region, effective Monday, November 25, 2019.
Ms. Bishop holds a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Phoenix and is 5 classes away from her Masters in Nursing. She has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare field and has worked in Med/Surg, OR, ER, and Critical Care.
Most recently, Ms. Bishop served as Director of Patient Care Services at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, Michigan. In this role, she oversaw the cardiology department, ICU/CCU/NICU and Emergency Department.
As McLaren Caro Region’s Director of Patient Care Services, Ms. Bishop will oversee all organizational and operational aspects of the Medical/Surgical, ER, OR, Nursing Informatics, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Senior Life Solutions Departments for the McLaren Caro Region system.
Ms. Bishop has been married to her husband Jeremy for 25 years and they have two adult children. They are a very proud military family as her husband and both children are in the Air Force!
