Fulfilling and gratifying volunteer opportunities abound at McLaren Central Michigan

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—It takes all kinds of people to make a hospital warm and welcoming, and at the heart of creating that environment are volunteers. A volunteer’s generous spirit and positive attitude makes the hospital personal to the community it serves.

Volunteer Services at McLaren Central Michigan is currently accepting applications from outgoing and compassionate individuals to graciously donate their time and talents for several volunteer positions and add to the betterment of the greater community.

“Volunteers are valuable members of our team, and their service is one that’s provided solely out of the kindness of their hearts,” said Nicole Sanders, coordinator of Volunteer Services at McLaren Central Michigan. “We appreciate their contributions and their ability to bring that welcomed community element and personality to McLaren Central Michigan, and we feel satisfied, too, seeing how fulfilling and rewarding it can be for them.”

Opportunities are open in the hospital’s retail gift shop, surgical waiting area and welcome centers, where volunteers would interact directly with patients and visitors while presenting a friendly, welcoming demeanor and a motivation to assist.
