Ask the Doctor Series-For the past several years the Family Medicine Residency at McLaren Flint has been holding its Ask the Doctor Series almost every month. Family Medicine Residents give talks on health and wellness to the community through collaborations with Eisenhower Elementary School in Flint and now the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Flint. Talks cover topics from living with chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension to preventative health topics like physical activity and nutrition. Throughout the pandemic, doctors continued to give talks to educate the community about COVID, the COVID vaccines and staying safe and healthy. Ask the Doctor is one way McLaren Family Medicine Residency is getting out into the community and promoting knowledge, health, and well-being in Flint.
