McLaren Greater Lansing Breaks Ground on New Hospital Project

The future of health care in our region is moving forward. McLaren Greater Lansing broke ground on our state-of-the-art new hospital campus in South Lansing on Monday, December 17, 2018. This is a monumental step in making our $450 million hospital project a reality.

“The future of health care in our region is getting closer every day,” said Kirk Ray, Chief Executive Officer at McLaren Greater Lansing. “We want to thank our doctors, staff, patients, and community for giving input during the design process so far. We look forward to working with you in continuing to redesign health care for generations to come.”

The team is already well underway in preparing our project area at the MSU Foundation’s University Corporate Research Park, located between Collins Road and US 127. A perimeter fence will soon surround the site as some of our more than 2,500 workers start laying the groundwork for our new campus. Connecting other aspects of the infrastructure will continue in January.
