McLaren Port Huron Foundation presents the 32nd Annual Festival of Trees

Port Huron, MI – Kick off the holiday season with McLaren Port Huron Foundation’s 32nd Annual Festival of Trees.  The event will take place Thanksgiving through the New Year in McLaren Port Huron’s South Tower lobby. The lobby will be transformed into a winter wonderland of decorated window displays. The community is invited to drive by or walk the sidewalk outside to view the displays.

“Festival of Trees is the start of the holiday season for many in our community.  We are proud to continue this Blue Water Area tradition, especially this year,” says Jamie Guyor, development officer, McLaren Port Huron Foundation.

In keeping with tradition, the decorated trees included in the displays will be raffled off, and one special raffle package will be available. Raffle tickets cost just $1. Donations in celebration of this long-time community event will also be accepted. Ticket sales and donations will take place online at www.mclaren.org/phfestival.

Proceeds from this year’s Festival of Trees will be used to purchase an endobronchial ultrasound bronchoscopy (EBUS). This equipment allows for early detection and treatment of lung cancer, improving care and outcomes for lung cancer patients in the Blue Water Area.

“Now more than ever, we are grateful for the support of our community,” says Sara Tait, director of McLaren Port Huron Foundation. “We find comfort and encouragement knowing this community cares about and supports our mission. We feel it is important to keep the Christmas spirit alive, especially this year, and hope our community will support this annual tradition.”
