We are a center of Chemotherapy Trained Registered Nurses. We offer each patient a private bay with TV and windows, comfortable reclining lounge chairs with heat and massage. Every patient recieves compassionate, quality and highly experienced care at each visit.
Wismer Procedures is located on the 3rd floor of the Wismer Health Center of McLaren Port Huron. Appointments must be scheduled ahead of time . Patient appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We can accommodate Saturday and Sunday hours for scheduled patients only, otherwise we are closed.
To reach Wismer 3rd Floor Procedures, take the elevator from the lobby of the Wismer Health Center (Main Entrance) to the 3rd floor. Turn right off the elevator and proceed down the hall to the Patient Check-in area.
Appointments can be scheduled for the following services:
- Blood Transfusions
- Outpatient Chemotherapy
- IV Therapy (Antibiotic, SoluMedrol, Gammaglobulin, Remicade, etc.)
- Port-A-Cath/Hickman Flushes and Dressing Changes
- Various Injections (Allergy, etc.)
- PPD with and without controls
- Suture and staple removal
- Therapeutic Phlebotomy
- Endocrine Studies
- Physician assisted procedures, such as thoracentesis, diagnostic lumbar punctures, paracentesis, Hickman removal, etc.
- Straight Catheterization
- Catheter Insertion
