Physician of the Quarter: Nitin Malhotra, MD
Congratulations to Nitin Malhotra, MD, vascular surgeon, who has been selected as the Physician of the Quarter. The award was announced at the September 9 medical staff meeting. Here is an excerpt from a nomination submitted on Dr. Malhotra’s behalf:
"We are fortunate and blessed to have him on our staff. He is an excellent surgical technician, a patient teacher, a role model for residents and fellows, and an outstanding individual. He is always willing to listen and help colleagues in need. He takes on difficult challenges without question. As surgical QI chairman, he has been dedicated and committed to improving the quality of care at our medical center. He is an asset to our patients, medical staff, and community."
