Regina Doxtador, vice president and chief financial officer at the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, has been named to Crain’s Detroit’s 2025 Notable Leaders in Finance.
Doxtador joined Karmanos in 2022. With over 35 years of health care financial leadership experience, she provides direction and oversight of financial planning, budgeting, and capital evaluation, as well as strategic financial insights related to growth initiatives, cost efficiency opportunities and network development that apply locally and statewide. Under Doxtador’s leadership, Karmanos generated over $1.4 billion in revenue for fiscal year 2024. Over the last three years, Karmanos has increased its investment in cancer research by 53% and grown its total operating revenues by an average of 14%. Karmanos has invested more than $61 million in capital expenditures over the past five years, which includes facility improvements, two new clinic locations, new SPEC/CT and PET/CT scanners, and various other equipment and facility upgrades.
