Port Huron, MI – Christina Welch has been named the Employee of the Month for May. Welch has worked at McLaren Port Huron for five years, and is currently a nurse in the Bariatric Center.
Welch was nominated by her peers because she embodies the values of McLaren Port Huron. Her patient care skills are exceptional. In her role in the Bariatric Center, Welch strives to help every bariatric patient through their weight loss journey. She treats patients like they are family. She is verycaring, kind and considerate, always thinking of others before herself. She is very knowledgeable in all aspects of nursing and handles every situation in a professional manner. Welch always has a positive, “can do” attitude, is easy to talk with, and has a great sense of humor.
