Dr. Ryan Ber is a board certified interventional cardiologist at McLaren Northern Michigan, specializing in minimally invasive treatments for coronary artery disease, venous thromboembolism, and peripheral arterial disease.
Originally from Toronto, Dr. Ber was drawn to Northern Michigan for its natural beauty and the opportunity to serve the community. He completed his medical degree at Meharry Medical College, internal medicine residency at Temple University Hospital, cardiovascular disease fellowship at Frederik Meijer Heart & Vascular Institute, and interventional cardiology fellowship at Henry Ford Health Providence Hospital.
Dr. Ber's expertise includes percutaneous coronary interventions, venous thrombectomy, pulmonary embolectomy, and peripheral arterial treatments—bringing leading-edge cardiac care directly to Northern Michigan patients. He believes strongly in communication and shared decision-making, working closely with patients and families to ensure they understand their condition and treatment options.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ber enjoys hiking, running, golfing, skiing, and reading science fiction.
