Clinical Integration Payment 2 for 2024

McLaren Physician Partners (MPP) is pleased to announce the release of the MPP Clinical Integration (CI) Payment 2 of 2 for 2024. MPP reengineered our payment processes to accelerate moving the June CI Payment 2 distribution to April. This payment is based on physician performance on cost and quality measures and includes value-based payments received from August 2024 to February 2025.

The total distribution amount is $3.4 million.

• Payors continue to raise the quality metric payment targets.
• Provider performance in quality is not meeting the targets established by the payors.
• Payments from the payors are decreasing due to our performance and MPP had to retain more to cover our operating expenses.

• MPP is engaging with other Michigan Physician Organizations (PO’s) to establish best practices to improve our performance.
• MPP is attending bimonthly meetings with BCBSM on a corrective action plan which includes evaluating our opportunities to improve our processes to optimize performance.
• MPP is committed to redoubling our efforts to efficiently increase the quality payments.
• Additional provider reimbursement is dependent on performance in value-based payment models as Medicare and BCBSM continues to have no planned rate increases for physician reimbursement.
• Improving your performance in the payor quality value-based programs and the MPP CI program is required to maintain practice sustainability.
