After more than a century of providing health care services to the Maumee community, McLaren St. Luke’s hospital will discontinue operations in mid-May 2023, after years of declining utilization and revenues, and the lingering impact of COVID-19.

McLaren St. Luke's is a nonprofit hospital in Ohio serving Maumee, Perrysburg and the surrounding communities in an accessible and comfortable suburban setting. Established in 1906, McLaren St. Luke’s provides a wide range of traditional services, including cardiovascular, spine and neurological, robotic surgery, orthopedic, and emergency services with a dedicated Primary Stroke Center. McLaren St. Luke’s has a Family Medicine Residency program that gives future family doctors a foundation of excellence based on leading edge treatments and time-tested principles.
