Parul Sud, MD, FACP, board-certified internal medicine specialist, is McLaren Flint’s second quarter Physician Recognition Award recipient. She received her award in front of her peers on May 26, 2022.
Dr. Sud currently serves as Director of McLaren Flint’s Internal Medicine Residency Medical Education Program. Her nomination form reads:
“Dr. Parul Sud has been a part of the McLaren Flint medical community for more than 25 years and is best known for her lifetime commitment to medical education and community service. She has helped establish and grow the McLaren Flint Internal Medicine Residency Program and currently serves as the Program Director. She has been an integral part of both the Genesee County Free Medical Clinic and Genesee Health Plan since their inception. She has participated in numerous outreach projects over the years as well. She is a superb clinician, teacher, and dedicated family person. She brings unparalleled enthusiasm and energy to whatever she does.”
The quarterly Physician Recognition Award allows physicians and staff to acknowledge members of the medical staff who:
- Are a current member of the McLaren Flint medical staff.
- Demonstrate compassion and concern for patients and staff.
- Have a cooperative attitude toward patients, colleagues, and staff.
- Strive for constituent quality outcomes.
- Display leadership and support to the organization.
