The building project work is being permitted by the City of Petoskey and will be in compliance with all requirements established by the Petoskey Municipal Code as well as the Emmet County and State of Michigan. All construction activities, hours of operation, and truck hauling routes are being coordinated carefully to reduce impact to project neighbors and the health care of our patients.
Regular construction hours will be between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday-Friday. Weekend, night, and holiday work by special permission only. All construction related equipment and materials must be transported on roadways designated as truck routes by the City of Petoskey.
Yes. In order to ensure that our community’s health care needs are being met, McLaren Northern Michigan hospital will remain open and fully operational during construction.
The last stages of the project, the renovation of the existing McLaren Northern Michigan hospital is expected to be completed in 2023, respectively.
The McLaren Northern Michigan Building and Renovation Project includes the transformation and modernizing facilities that are the foundation of our community and regions healthcare services. The primary community benefit of the project is providing a safe, modern hospital with adequate capacity for patient care.
